The New Testament Baptist Church was a mission work started under the authority of the Lehigh Valley Baptist Church of Emmaus, PA. In June of 1996 the Shorter family moved to Pemberton, NJ and began meeting in a store front with three Air Force families which were all former members of a Baptist Church in Larimore, ND. This mission work grew rapidly, moved into its current location and was organized into a church in October of 1998.
