Pastor Chuck Shorter grew up in northern Delaware and was raised in a traditional Catholic home. Not long after marrying his high school sweetheart, Joyce, they both were saved in May of 1980 at the Bible Baptist Church of Claymont, DE. Please take the time to read Brother Shorter’s Testimony. A few years later he surrendered to preach and moved to Springfield, MO to attend the Baptist Bible College and joined the Berean Baptist Church where Bro. Leon Grey was his pastor. Pastor Shorter completed both his bachelors and masters degrees at BBC. Upon graduation Bro Shorter accepted the call to become the pastor of a new mission work in New Jersey under the authority of the Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. Pastor Shorter and his wife Joyce have four grown children and, as of this writing, 10 grandchildren. He is currently pursuing his PhD through the Louisiana Baptist University.
